VALLEJO DIRT TRACK,
CIRCA 1973

The Richmond Ramblers recently purchased a box full of race photographs taken by Bob Bockover at Vallejo Speedway in the years 1973-74. While many of the photos are of current and former Ramblers, there are hundreds of pictures of other riders. In the 30 years since the photos were taken the accumulation of dirt, gas fumes and other substances has dulled or memories and we have no idea who these riders are. It is our intention to return these pictures to their rightful owners. In an effort to do so, we have complied all rider numbers into a database and have posted links for your viewing. If you or someone you know participated in dirt track events at Vallejo in the early 70's and remember your racing number, we will be happy to pass on the corresponding photos to you. The photos are free and can be shipped to you (we will charge for shipping) or the can be picked-up at the clubhouse. Donations are graciously accepted.
